Initiative one – The South African Special Administrative Region

 

The first initiative of the Pi  is to promote discourse around, and build support for, establishing an autonomous special administrative region within South Africa through a democratic process and negotiation with South Africa’s national and regional governments. The Pi  believes that the formation of a small independent enclave - where sound socio-economic policies can more easily be implemented - will nucleate a safer and more prosperous South Africa for all. Initiative two – Urban renewal and gentrification of our cities

 

The Pi  aims to further social upliftment though urban renewal in South Africa’s major cities. South Africa needs cities that attract residents with low crime, efficient transportation and good leisure facilities. Our cities need to be safe, they need a new and affordable commuter system and most of all they need to be attractive places to live in. Read more…

 

 

Initiative three – Direct democracy and democratic feedback

 

Democracy in South Africa needs to be brought directly to its people and not just remain in the hands of the privileged few. The political drift between the elcted polaticians and the people needs to be reversed. Read more…
